Welcome, Welcome to my photos, blog, thing,

Welcome!

For those who don't know me, I'm Haley Cary. I'm a twenty-four-year-old photographer who promotes people and the well being of this earth. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Cool, I know. I graduated from Columbia College in May 2024 with a degree in photography. Though that is hardly the most interesting thing about me. After college, I moved back to Alaska and am trying to figure out the world of post-graduation—where to work, how much finding a job in this day and age sucks, how to be a good person, how to be in my 20s, and how to navigate relationships, friendships, and the pursuit of the perfect photograph. I have a don named Lulu-Bell, I love at home because have you seen this housing market right now? I don’t like rude people, am I honest to a fault, and I love all things nature and want to do my role in saving this earth.

So that's me in a nutshell. I'm sure y'all will learn more about me through this blog, but since it's the first one, I won't bore you with too much about my life story.

Anyway, I'm starting this blog as a way to show people my work, to share stories about Alaska, what it’s like for an artist in her 20s post-grad (spoiler alert: it sucks), share photo stories from my travels, and more.

So welcome, welcome to the chaos of my brain and work. I hope you stay.

Cheers,

H
